Japan Tour with EwaTour: Honshu, Okinawa, Kyushu - a new destination in the making
EwaTour is preparing a new destination - curated journeys across Japan: Honshu, Okinawa and Kyushu. Small groups, a partner on the ground and routes without the tourist conveyor belt. Here is what the format looks like and how to join the waitlist.
Why Japan and why now
Japan is back at the top of travellers' wish lists - a country where thousand-year-old tradition lives right next to the future. But mass tourism turns it into a conveyor belt: bus, crowd, ten minutes per stop, move on.
We are preparing something different. The EwaTour author format means a small group, a partner who lives in Japan and shows the country from the inside, and a route built for impressions - not for ticking boxes on a list.
The regions we are preparing
We are starting with three regions, each with its own character:
- Honshu - the main island and the classics with depth: Tokyo and Kyoto, temples and neon, tradition and modernity in one route (around nine days).
- Okinawa - a completely different Japan: subtropics, islands, a warm sea and an unhurried rhythm instead of megacities.
- Kyushu - the south, away from the crowds: onsen (hot springs), volcanic landscapes and a calm countryside (planned for the winter season).
The format: curated, not mass
The key difference is scale and delivery. A small group instead of a stream. EwaTour guidance plus a partner on the ground. A route with room to breathe: time to feel a place, not just photograph it.
We do not move people by template. The programme is built around impressions - food worth trying, districts the usual tourist never reaches, and a pace that does not wear you out.
What is usually included
The idea is simple: everything important is thought through in advance, so on the trip you deal with impressions, not logistics. As a rule that means accommodation, internal transfers per the programme, the route and the guidance. Flights are discussed separately.
The exact scope depends on the region and the specific group. We discuss the cost personally - we do not publish open prices.
A destination in the making - how to be first
Honestly: we are still finalising the details - the final programme, dates and visa matters. So this is the announcement of a destination, not a fixed departure date yet.
If Japan with EwaTour is for you, write to us now. Whoever joins the waitlist hears the dates first and gets into the pilot group with the best conditions. Get in touch via the contact page or our Telegram channel.
